Hello faithful readers, if your still there, All thirty thousand of you. I am in the process of a revamp and relaunch of PrettynPoppington. I know some of you darlings are pissed off and irritated at my inconsistency, so for that I have to apologize…Apologies. The way I look at things is, life happens, and in life you have to revamp and relaunch and that’s exactly what I have been doing so that I can be 100% committed and faithful to my passion, PrettynPoppington.
In with the new
With that being said, expect to see new posts, videos and Interviews starting Fall 2016 with blog post topics focusing on crisp original indie talent from the Carolina’s and beyond. This coming fall will be a great start for the new PrettynPoppington. Expect to see more esthetic changes as I will enjoy the personal challenge of building my readers back up to 30k per month and more. Lego!!!
Please forgive me and come back to me, I’m speaking to the 20k readers that frequent PrettynPoppington every month. I have good reason for my departure. I had a child, my first, a sweet little boy whom is dearly loved. Now, I know that warrents some forgiveness. As I ease my way back into the blog life a few things have changed, I will be focusing more on urban culture, and entertainment due to me being a radio personality on an internet based station called Kinetic HiFi and urban culture and entertainment is extremely broad, so I will have much more to rant about. The radio show I’m on is Those to Watch Radio, (my radio name Ms. Keep it Pretty) we cover emerging stars in indie Hip-Hop and R&B music. It’s internet radio so we can say whatever we want, and you can imagine how crazy things can get from time to time with myself and three men as fellow co-host. With that being said I’m sure to lose followers and gain new ones in return. Those who decide to stay and come back to me I thank you. I will post new articles every Saturday, thats one new post a week and as I get acclimated back into the blog life you will see one new post go to three, three go to five, and so on and so fourth. Check back with me on Saturday June 13th to checkout the newest post from PrettynPoppington.
I have been so inspired to do a post on The Original Charleo for a few months now and I feel like now is fitting especially with the holidays peeking around the corner. What is The Origin Charleo you may ask, well to answer your inquiry, it’s the authentic and official Charleston clothing brand that speaks volumes in the 843 as a whole and has now taking larger strides to other states with the interests of celebrities rocking Charleo gear for all to see. I LOVE the love and exposure Charleo Clothing is getting.
I love it because this one dream and/or vision of an official clothing line that was cultivated by the founder or founders has brought unity and support to a culture (urban culture) and city of people that is hard as hell to get support and love from. The Charleston hip-hop and entertainment scene is one that you would have to know about to speak on. If you know anything about the hip-hop and urban music scene in Charleston you would know that unity and support of fellow artist is as cold as an Antarctic draft. Since The Original Charleo has launch I see and feel consistent love and support of the brand and a culture of people has finally pooled together to support their own through the love of being fresh to def and the culture of hip-hop.
One of Charleston South Carolina’s own female rapper, Nina Ross, and over all entertainer marks July 25, 2014 as the day to celebrate her album release. That’s today in case y’all didn’t known. “Ridin Roun Wit That Nina,” the mix tape that’s been creating mega buzz is here and ready to be heard by the masses. I guess I should apologize for dropping this teaser huh, but I’m not. Tune in tomorrow to hear Nina Ross, The Imperial Queen’s music, videos and her interview with Those To Watch Radio on Kinetichifi.com
