I have to Give alot of the credit to Nicola Formichetti, because he is is genius behind allll of her music videos and styles, and also the new designer to Mugler….and also special thanks to Laurieann Gibson, because every Lady Gaga video you’ve seen, shes been the choreographer…..just a little FYI
…..this will be the second time we’ve seen Lady Gaga as a ‘dude’……this photo was taking in Vogue Hommes Japan a few months ago
“Right now what I’m wearing is an archive Gianni Versace.” Gaga said and continued: “This was never seen before. It is a dress that was made before he died. And actually I’m wearing only Versace for like the next two months. I’m having a love affair with Donatella”
Christy Turlington by Irving Penn wearing a maxi skirt with the same print. Gianni Versace early 90′s. Summer 1991
Miss GaGa is bringing back Vintage Versace in the hardest way. This woman knows fashion, cant doubt her at all, I respect her for her education of fashion, and the way she wears it.
Versace Fall 1991 pleated skirt…and boots from Gianni Versace Fall 1992 Bondage collection
For her performance at Roma EuroPride 2011 Gaga stepped the stage dressed in black and white haute couture maxi skirt from Atelier Versace Fall 1992 one of the Fall 1992 campaign visuals shot by Patrick Demarchelier, a legendary photographer.
….this black signature dress belongs to the Atelier Versace Fall 1997, the last haute couture collection designed by Gianni Versace himself I do believe.
It is thought that when Lady Gaga made her appearance as a mentor on the show on Wednesday night, the producers of the show were forced to block out the images with two big red stars.
According to Musicrooms.net, the shop that Lady Gaga got the boots from “fuses the overt sexuality of rubber, vinyl and plastic textiles and striking body-conscious silhouettes with modern tailoring and artisan techniques to form a collection that is both beautiful and provocative”. I personally think they should have known what they were getting into when the gave her this oppurtunity, always expect the unexpected with miss gaga herself….and I love her for this.
Lady Gaga’s ‘Judas’ video has arrived ahead of schedule! Slated to premiere tonight (May 5) on E!, the much talked about, highly anticipated video found its way on to the internet and went viral hours before the TV premiere time. The already-controversial ‘Judas’ video depicts co-director Gaga’s take on Biblical motifs, with Mama Monster as a swaggering Mary Magdalene biker chick opposite model-turned-actor Norman Reedus’s smoldering Judas Iscariot, Jesus’ notorious betrayer. Baptisms, biker brawls and menage-a-trois bathtub scenes ensue. The video’s wardrobe includes chains, leather, bejeweled crosses and, of course, a crown of thorns. All of which provocative content lends weight to creative director Laurieann Gibson anxiety about the fearless Gaga’s sexed-up re-interpretation of the Christian holy book. Gaga’s eager “monster” fans will not be denied — just a few weeks ago, the ‘Judas’ audio leaked as well, a whole four days early. Gaga has been building the ‘Judas’ video release anticipation and working hard promoting the upcoming ‘Born This Way’ album with performances on ‘Ellen’ and most recently, on today’s ‘Oprah.’
The new song — which was to drop next Tuesday and was produced “Poker Face” and “Bad Romance” hit maker RedOne — has the gyrating, mate-calling DNA of any good Gaga rager. “I wanna love you/ But something’s pulling me away from you/ Jesus is my virtue, Judas is the demon I cling to, I cling to,” she sings, likely to provoke some religious controversy (and, historically, the wrath of Katy Perry). Though who knows what sort of mate is going to show up for a lady who just told Harper’s Bazaar that those protrusions on her head and shoulders aren’t prosthetics but rather “my bones.” I’ve been hearing so many reviews about this song, even before born this way was released, so im glad to finally hear it, its a very religious pop song…..something tells me her album will be very religious and political, which is always a good thing, if its done the correct way. So make sure to support her and buy your legal copy on iTunes, you can listen to the track below.
At the Mugler Fall/Winter 2012 RTW Runway Show we say Gaga not only produce the music (Featuring a preview of a new track; Hooker Government) but she also waked the runway, and doing a great job of it at that! Check out the fullsized photos, music and the video .
