Whats Poppington: Lil Kim’s New Release Entitled Jay-Z Featuring Tiffany Fox

I’ve finally had a chance to listen to the Queen B’s newest  release entitled “Jay-Z” featuring her new artist Tiffany Fox. I could be a little biased because I am a Lil Kim fan and will always be, but this track needs to be put on replay over and over and over again. It’s the joint and I’m loving it. You probably thought I was going to say something miss fitting, got ya. Tiffany Fox has a sweet flow and Kim obviously does her thing as usual. Kim gives us a reminder of her slick and provocative yet lyrically pronounced style in her rap verses and Ms. Fox does not fall short at all she defiantly holds her own and complements Lil Kim’s swag with a cherry on top, Jay-Z should be proud.

I thought it would be super savvy to create your own studded denim jacket, so I gathered a few items to help you with this craft.  The first thing you would need is the denim jacket, and these days you can find them at just about any clothing retailer. To name a few there’s American Eagle, Gap, Old Navy and Wet Seal, with prices under $50.00. Next you need studs and I’ve found several styles of studs from this awesome site called  beadkraft.com. Once you have your studs and your denim jacket put the studs on the jacket and your done. Pretty smart huh, and you’ve now saved about $65.00 to $75.00 on a wardrobe piece that will always be in style. Home made punk chic. Cut the sleeves off of your denim jacket at the shoulder seams for the sleeveless look.

H&M Summer 2013 Campaign involves King Bey in a  Jonas Åkerlund shoot. Beyonce is now the face of H&M Summer, and what a good look that for Bey, H&M and all the fans and lovers of the fashion brand to be apart of.

On the Bahamas shoot: “I loved shooting the campaign in the Bahamas,” says Beyoncé of the photoshoot shot by Jonas Åkerlund, the same photog who shot the TV commercial for her upcoming Mrs. Carter Show World Tour. “We shot on a beach outside of Nassau and the weather was perfect. The shoot was filled with vibrant colors and was inspired by the glamour of the late ‘70s.”

On her summer style: “I love the summer. I’m always in shorts, dresses, light, flowing fabrics, great sandals,” says Beyoncé of her summer looks. She credits her stylists Ty Hunter and Raquel Smith as “an influential part of the process” each day.

On her mother’s style influence: “I think my style comes from watching my mother from the time I was a little girl. She was so stylish. She was the first person I saw mix high end pieces with more accessible styles and make it all work. I’m also inspired by my sister, I love her bold approach.”

The glam squad responsible for Model Iris Egbers look are Wardrobe  Stylist – Andrew Holden, Makeup Artist – Fumi Akinakagawa and Hair – Yoichi Tomizawa.

I personally love the color contrast used between her hair and skin. The makeup is kept soft not to take attention away from her over all look, and I love the deep bronze smoky eye that plays off those fire red tresses. Well done by true professionals.

Keep it Pretty: Hayley Williams, MAC Cosmetics And An Orange Makeup Collection

 Hayley Williams is teaming up with MAC Cosmetics to create an  all orange  collection. The Paramore front woman has joined forces with MAC on a 4-piece line, that will come out in April. According to Hayley, the partnership with MAC Cosmetics was organic, she explained to People Style Watch about her decision to collaborate with the beauty brand,

“I didn’t wear makeup at all. Photographers would beg me to wear chapstick and I’d say no…I went to a [store] and picked up orange eye shadow from MAC, that was the beginning of the end. It’s been key in making me feel like I have an onstage personality.”~Hayley Williams~

I can’t wait until this collection comes out. Orange is one of my favorite colors for cosmetic shades and I know this collection will be AMAZ!
